Description of the research topic:

The topic is the study of the phase diagram of quantum
chromodynamics by means of lattice field theory. The goal is to obtain as
much information as possible about the conjectured critical point in the
plane of temperature - chemical potential. The necessary simulations will
be performed via the so-called staggered fermion discretization.
