Abbreviation of location of studies: MTA

Description of the research topic:

High –entropy materials with sufficiently high Seebeck coefficient and low thermal conductivity can act as thermoelectric generator (TEG) for recovering waste heat at high temperature. Most of the currently available thermoelectric materials are based on low-temperature compounds and containing toxic elements (Pb, As,Se, Bi and Te), preventing a widespread and sustainable implementation. High entropy materials consisting of cheap elements and possessing unique transport, mechanical, and chemical properties are promising for high-temperature TEG applications.
