Description of the research topic:

Interpersonal relationships in the workplace play an important role in the life of employees and the entire organization. This term refers to all interpersonal relationships in which individuals engage as they perform their jobs. The supervisor-subordinate, the peer coworker relationships and the workplace friendships are in the primary focus of the research. The aim of this study is to explore the functions, the developmental processes and the outcomes of these interpersonal relationships in the workplace regarding the organization. The other goal of this research is exploring those individual and organizational factors and processes which lead to the development of problematic workplace relationships. This study also focuses on the techniques to cope with these problematic relationships and to improve interpersonal relationships in the workplace used by employees and organizations.
