Description of the research topic:

1. Human rights, rights of defendants in criminal proceedings
2. Problems of coercive measures restricting the right to liberty with special regard to decisions of the European Court of Human Rights and the Humgarian Constitutional Court
3. The role of the victim in criminal proceedings
4. The role of the public prosecutor in criminal proceedings with special regard to dicretionary power of the public prosecutor
5. Decisions of the European Court of Human Rights concerning criminal procedure
6. Simplification and acceleration of criminal proceedings. Special procedures and other means serving simplification and acceleration

The clarification of the topic will be concluded according to the research plan discussed by the applicants and supervisors.
