A Közel-Kelet aktutális kérdéseinek, elsősorban az arab országok és Irán társadalmi, politikai és biztonságpolitikai folyamatainak vizsgálata - valamilyen esettanulmány formájában, pl. az Iszlám Állam, a sziriai polgárháború, az iráni nukleáris megállapodás, stb. A pontos témát a hallgató az oktatóval egyeztetve határozza meg.
