Description of the research topic:

The focus of interest is the revival of English-Language writing in Québec since the 1980s. Areas of research would include the place of a minority writing within a minority on the literary map of Canada/Québec, the representation of the city of Montreal, the linguistic map of the bi/multilingual texts, the literary portrayal of the socio-political issues present in the works of fiction written in English in the officially unilingual French province of Canada.
