Description of the research topic:
In this framework the dissertations shall observe:
1. Those parallel and intersecting narratives (literary and non-literary categories of text and speech), visual and spatial representations (pictorial, photographical, cinematographical and architectural works) which establish, maintain and transmit, but at the same time “depict” the relevant milieu of cultural memorial communities in the region (imagological and discourse-analytical works are both possible);
2. The reception-history of canonical artworks, oeuvres and artists (including the reception of Hungarian literary phenomena abroad, and the reception of foreign works in Hungary – primarily from German-language cultural regions.
