Description of the research topic:

The proposed topic pertains to investigations that examine the contemporary and historical phenomena of visual culture from the end of the 18th century up till now, primarily visual effects in urban space, and the forms of the organization and experience of space. The research may include the examination of other phenomena belonging to the field of visual culture, such as professional institutions of spectacle production (museums, cultural organizations and the various functions of the curator). In every case, the investigation will be based on empirical case studies.
