Description of the research topic:

The research focuses on the examination of phenomena connected to fashion, especially the relationship of fashion and art and studies concerning the contemporary situation of fashion industry. Possible topics may include the exploration of the system of dressing based on identitypolitics characteristic from the 18th century, as well as fashion industry understood as a special branch of culture industry and the communicational mechanisms of fashion (fashion-magazines, electronic communicational platforms, blogs, vlogs, social networks, webpages). In every case, the investigation will be based on empirical case studies.
