Description of the research topic:
Analysis of the hydrogeological correlations between the Permian formations of the western Mecsek hills and the Pannonian layers of Pellérd and Tortyogó water production areas, examination and clarification of the recharge processes of the water production areas, with special attention to the potential effects of the high-level radioactive waste disposal site and to the effects of intense surface infiltration along the „foothill debris zone”.
