Description of the research topic:

The goal of the project is to elucidate the relationship between spatial cognition (spatial navigation) and the development of the "theory of mind" in different age groups from the age of 3 to 14 years olds and study the decline of the spatial cognitive capacity in elderly. The task is to test the hypothesis that theory of mind relies on the cognitive capacity to be able to switch from the egocentric to the allocentric frame of reference.
