Description of the research topic:

The major assumption of attachment theories that early schemas on the nature of the world (friendly versus threating and dangerous) shape the general worldview later including social attitudes has been confirmed in different theoretical paradigms (terror management, authoritarianism and social dominance, motivated social cognition, prejudice reduction). The doctoral thesis could examine the effect of priming secure attachment on social attitudes.
