Description of the research topic:
Research in the framework of the Stereotype Content Model attracted some attention to stereotypes of groups which are perceived as having relative high status and being in competition with the dominant group (for example career women, feminists, Asians, Jews). The topic of doctoral thesis could be comparative research on envious stereotypes as well as analysis the specificities of envious stereotypes concerning the functions of prejudice and prejudice reduction.
