Description of the research topic:

In the auditory and visual modality even non-attended events are recorded in modality-specific memory systems. This systems are sensitive to the changes of environmental events. Being non-attentive/ non-conscious memory representation, methods of event-related brain activity are especially effective in investigations. The aim of the research is to acquire knowledge in the characteristics of this visual memory system, and the change of this system in aging and in various pathological conditions.
