Description of the research topic:

Creative thinking and creative production is an essential human capacity. In the previous decades a considerable knowledge accumulated in this field, but the theoretical accounts are highly divergent. Much less is known about the brain mechanisms specific in higher vs. lower creativity. The research concentrated on the strengths of inhibition-related processes in domain-specific and and unspecific aspects of creativity. The main method is the analysis of various forms of brain electric activity.
