Description of the research topic:

Alkylamides are a promising group of bioactive compounds with different pharmacological activities and wide structural diversity. Species of Asteraceae, Brassicaceae, Convolvulaceae, Solanaceae and Rutaceae plant families are rich sources of alkylamides. Tasks of the applicant are: 1) Isolation of alkylamides from plant native or cultivated to Hungary using different chromatographic methods (column chromatography, TLC, HPLC); 2) Structure elucidation of isolated compounds based on their NMR and MS spectra.
