Description of the research topic:

The aim of the research topic is the scientific analysis of widely applied medicinal plants and scientifically less analysed species. Herbal extracts, fractions and their compounds will be studied by preparative and analytical phytochemical methods and by in vitro and in vivo safety pharmacological methods as well. The goal of the research is to broaden the range of therapeutically used medicinal plants and to gain safety data concerning the already used medicinal plants and their active constituents.
