The main goal of the work is the investigation of the pathomechanism of (absence) epilepsy in a complex manner. Main research subtopics (Electrophysiology/EEG; Research Group of Neuromodulation and Epilepsy: http://neuroepilgroup.hu):
1. Links between neuroimmunological reactions and pathomechanism of epilepsy.
2. Effect of nucleosides on epileptic seizures.
3. Metabolic therapies for seizure disorders.
