Description of the research topic:

Parallel field trials based on the comparison of sustainable (minimum tillage, biopesticide use, diversified cropping systems etc.) and conventional (ploughing, crop rotation, monoculture, pesticide use, monoculture farming etc.) field practices according to the project addressing the H2020-RUR-06-2016 call: Crop diversification and low-input farming across Europe: from practitioners’ engagement and ecosystems services to increased revenues and value chain organisation (Diverfarming). For this purpose, samples representing soil properties under different cropping systems will be analysed in the laboratory. The selected plots are typical of the Pannonian pedoclimatic region, which incudes the loess and sand covered areas, of Hungary. The ideal candidate has experience in basic soil analyses, field experiments, data evaluation and mapping.
