Development and application of data processing methods in technical diagnostics

THESIS TOPIC PROPOSAL

Institute: University of Debrecen
computer sciences
Doctoral School of Informatics

Thesis supervisor: Imre Kocsis
Location of studies (in Hungarian): Debreceni Egyetem Informatikai Kar
Abbreviation of location of studies: DE IK

Description of the research topic:

Machinery condition monitoring and technical diagnostics are intensively studied fields of mechanical engineering. Nowadays the development of effective data processing techniques is in the focus of the research in this area.
In the world of high speed and high capacity measuring systems the effectiveness of machinery condition monitoring depends first of all on the data processing methods applied.
Research is based on the infrastructure of the Diagnostics Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering and the industrial partners of the faculty
