absztrakt
With urban sprawl and cities growth around the world, the mode of life has been changed and moved between cities and countryside affected by globalization and causing urbanisation and counter-urbanisation (rurbanisation) phenomena which have affected landscape. These two phenomena are due to social dynamics and communication mutation, which are affected by transportation systems development, land use and settlement structure. Syria is one of the developing countries which its cities and countryside have been affected by globalization phenomenon and changed through the years, because of the social dynamics and transportation systems development. Based on the formers the main research question is could the transportation system be the solution for urbanization and counter-urbanisation phenomena?
