Description of the research topic:

Spin label electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), Fourier-transform
infrared (FTIR) and fluorescence spectroscopies complement each other
very well in providing data on molecular structure and dynamics on
(biological) membranes and membrane proteins. Our objective is to
develop new spectrum analysis and fitting algorithms in order to
maximise the information on structure and dynamics from spectra measured
on the most modern instruments available in our laboratory.
