Ecological studies on aquatic macroinvertebrate assemblages of stillwater habitats using quantitative methods. Evaluation of dispersal activity and movement patterns in the light of distributional characteristics and environmental factors. Exploring the role of metapopulation structure using trapping and capture-mark-recapture techniques in ponds, focusing on beetle and bug species.
