Description of the research topic:

The purpose of the first part of the study is to establish primary cell cultures from human dental pulp and periodontal ligament and to identify multipotential stem cells in these cultures. Then, using optimized pharmacological protocols, we compare the potential of pulp and periodontal cultures to undergo neuronal differentiation. The long-term goal is the differentiation of mature neuron cells, organised into a 3D network.
