Thesis supervisor: Zoltán Aigner
Location of studies (in Hungarian): Szeged
Abbreviation of location of studies: SZ

Description of the research topic:

In case of the poor water soluble materials, the solubility and dissolution rate determines the bioavailability. The inclusion complexation with cyclodextrin derivatives or the preparation of solid solutions or dispersions with water soluble carriers and application of absorption modifying components can increase the solubility or/and dissolution rate of these active compounds. The student responsible for the preparation of the appropriate products. Thermoanalytical, spectroscopic and X-ray powder diffractometric analytical techniques are used for investigate the interactions between the components and the stability. In vitro dissolution tests and other examinations are used for qualifying the products, and the products are used to form solid dosage forms.
