Description of the research topic:
Climate change and the limitations of natural resources are global threats affecting all economic actors and require individual, but cooperating responses among each others. Its main direction will be turning to the carbon-free economy (or, in a more realistic approach, "low-carbon economy"), which, in the broader sense, is a resource efficient, in other words a green economy (or "greenomics").
This turn is needing a huge capital investment, ie. being equal to the mass of business opportunities anticipated for a long time. Sustainability or narrowing to the economy the green (blue) economy, in general "greening" as a desirable value system is a basic question of humanity, but it is far from certain that everyone thinks the same of it. Understanding and managing this complexity (interdependence system) gives the lesson to business and policy decision-makers who need to find solutions that are successful beyond the understanding of everyday problems, and even implement them, and these steps are often of crucial importance to many stakeholders.
Our research is focused on examining this issue, and we are working out a model for examining the management challenges of greenomics that we want to test with specific economic players. The results can provide important information to both stakeholders and sustainability policy decision-makers.
