Description of the research topic:

Failed back surgery syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome, angina, peripherial vascular disease related pain are the most frequent refractory pain syndromes. These disorders can be treated by both pharmacological and neurosurgical procedures. In this topic we would like to focus on the evaluation of the pathomechanism, efficacy and safety of spinal cord stimulation in chronic pain syndromes.
