Description of the research topic:

The knowledge of the immunological protection of serosal surface of the intraabdiminal organs is very scarce, despite its clear medical significance. The aim of this project is the analysis of the connection between the peritoneal lymphoid structures and the intestinal lymphoid tissues, their developmental relationship using cellular immunological and molecular biological approaches in various animal models.
