Description of the research topic:
Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor and dystona are the most frequent movement disorders. These disorders can be treated by both pharmacological and neurosurgical procedures. In this topic we would like to focus on the evaluation of the pathomechanism, efficacy and safety of deep brain stimulation in movement disorders.
