Description of the research topic:
Fractured rock bodies (igneous, metamorphic or even carbonate) are essential not only in hydrocarbon and water production, but also in exploiting geothermal energy. These formations are also important concerning safe deposition of industrial wastes. The project aims complex investigation of petrology, structural geology, hydrodynamics as well as mathematical simulation of fractured fluid reservoirs.
