Description of the research topic:

Diagenetic history basically determines the behavior of sedimentary rock sequences. Subsequent steps of the evolution can be understood by rigorous microscopic, geochemical, mineralogical, fluid inclusion, etc. evaluation. The project aims complex investigation of a wide spectrum of sedimentary rocks, essentially those that play important role as a fluid (hydrocarbon, geothermal) reservoir.
