Doctoral School of Informatics

Thesis supervisor: Andrea Pintér-Huszti
Location of studies (in Hungarian): Debreceni Egyetem Informatikai Kar
Abbreviation of location of studies: DE IK

Description of the research topic:

Nowadays, there is a need for cryptographic protocols built up basic primitives such as encryption and digital sigature schemes, hash and MAC(Message Authentication Code) functions. These systems are supposed to accomplish several, necessary security requirements, hence designing involves special care. Besides modeling protocols, it is necessary to provide security analyzis. Students learns all basic protocols, such that key exchange, authentication, secret sharing protocols, and the advanced ones, like multi party computations, e-voting, e-payment, network security protocols, including several protocol design principles and techniques of security evaluations.
