Description of the research topic:

In case of structural gluing of wood, it is of major importance, wood to give the same answer to the environmental challenges (like temperature, MC variation, etc.) like the adhesive in the bondline. Actually a systematic approach is missing regarding the measure of vapor diffusion of different adhesives and what are its relations with the tensions occurring in the glulam.
