Description of the research topic:
The basis of the research is Italo Calvino, but we want to emphasize the works of the Groupo 63, that defined Calvino’s art and thoughts in the era. Therefore the research will not only concern the writer’s works, but the literature and organization of the Italian neoavantgarde revealing some literary works that are unknown in the local discourse. The goal is the discovery of the organisation and literary aims of the group through publications, literary works and art (e. g. works of Nanni Balestrini, Alfredo Giuliani, Giorgio Manganelli, Gaetano Testa, Umberto Eco and Italo Calvino).
