Description of the research topic:
Syllabus Teaching information literacy is closely related to getting to know the traditional and non-traditional information sources in school libraries, the use of computerized tools (e.g. online catalogues, distributed catalogues, subjectfield specific online databases, etc.) of referencework, and the learning processes taking place in searches. Issues concerning the role, the importance and theuse of all the setools will be in the focus of research fromthe aspect of librarypedagogy. Studying technical literature we will provide an overview of good practices which are used for efficient learning of information literacy, and what kind of new competences pupils will have by acquiring this knowledge. Methodological experiences obtained during information literacy classes will be investigated in the form of case studies.
