Description of the research topic:

Pharmaceutical consumption results increasing of EDC content of municipal wastewater. These compounds accumulate in the soils because of the untreated sewage. The efficiency of sewage treatment is usually low for EDC-s, as well. Since treated waste water also could be source of endocrine disruptors. Some of papers report primary importance of mineral phase. Some of others emphasizes the importance of SOM in the adsorption of EDCs. The roadmap of the research will be configured by the joint consultation Supervisor with the Applicant.
