Description of the research topic:
The mechanisms and signaling pathways of wound healing, inflammation and tumor growth partially overlap. Mesenchymal stem cell activation contributes to all three processes. CD90 promoter activation and NFAT activation are essential steps in all cases. Our aim is exploring the common points and differences in these processes; leading to new therapeutical possibilities.
