Description of the research topic:
Napjainkban a kognitív idegtudomány egyik legfontosabb kutatási irányává vált az emberi agy funkcionális konnektivitásának vizsgálata. A funkcionális MRI módszerek lehetőséget teremtenek arra, hogy nem-invazív módon feltérképezzük és jellemezzük ezeket a hálózatokat. A témával kapcsolatos kutatások kiterjednek a jobb jel-zaj viszonyt eredményező adatgyűjtési módszerek és új adatfeldolgozási eljárások kidolgozására és azok alkalmazására az agykutatásban, valamint a transzlációs neurobiológiai kutatásokban alkalmazható fMRI biomarkerek fejlesztésére.

Investigating the brain functional connectivity using fMRI methods (Zoltán Vidnyánszky).
Nowadays, the investigation of functional connectivity of the human brain has become one of the most prominent research approaches in cognitive neuroscience. Functional MRI provides an opportunity to map human functional brain networks in an efficient, non-invasive way. The research involves development of new data acquisition protocols and data analysis methods, as well as their application in the field of cognitive neuroscience and in the development of pharmacological biomarkers.
