Description of the research topic:
The pattern of built-up areas in peri-urban areas largely determines the accessibility. This research will examine these patterns and assess the proximity effects and their environmental consequences in specific cases. Methods: GIS and sociological methodology, environmental science methods, evaluation. As a result of the thesis, proposals should be formulated to facilitate the adaptation of urban planning to climate change.
