Description of the research topic:
The privacy-protection of sensible data collected and sent by mobile and IoT devices is an extremely imprortant issue from the users perspective. Several apps use these data handled by some central entities, hence the replacement of trusted third parties by a distributed systems could arise significant improvement form security and availability point of view. The goal is to analyze and solve the respective security and privacy problems. The emergence of robotisation in food production is a new potential application for these technologies.
The task is the design, implementation and validation of communication protocols for trusted and secure cloud and blockchain applications.
