Description of the research topic:
Energy market resilience and energy price stability is growing concern and attract much academic and political interest. A couple of directions to be explored are: a) Traditional versus new energy firms financing opportunities as institutional investors embrace ESG, b) energy prices volatility, market interventions in EU ( Eurostat has good relevant data) and living standard, c) energy firms and bipartisan politics in the US, exploring republican support for energy firms ... Other relevant ideas also welcome. Of course a full thesis need to include in depth theoretical discussion of the economic role of the energy market in local and global setting.
