Description of the research topic:
Developments in recent years and decades pose major challenges for European researchers in the field of spatial analysis. Extremely rapid spatial changes are now not only characteristic of the countries of the Eastern Bloc, but are also traceable in other European countries thanks.
The professional aim of the thesis is to map the relationships, time changes of a well-defined sector / area of an economic and social phenomena, using secondary and primary data sources, using regional analysis methods making the necessary adjustments and fine-tuning.
Candidate should be able to create independent model, which may be suitable for exploring, better understanding and forecasting the causal factors among the factors influencing the phenomenon under study.
Candidates should be able to formulate proposals, using analysis and models, that are relevant to leaders, decision-makers and stakeholders in the sector and can also bring practical benefits to companies.
