Description of the research topic:
Efficient, sustainable and economical solution of complex trans-sectorial and circular process networks require the causally right and dynamic model based overview of balances.
Regardless to the fast development of Big Data and data analytics based problem solving methods of Info Communication Technologies, the decisions about the underlying large-scale, long-term processes need a clear overview of the complex interactions. Having recognized this challenge, and considering the typical features of the underlying systems, the planned research topics aim to apply the modelling and simulation method of Programmable Process Structures. The main objective of an actual task is the dynamic model based support for a practically significant task, selected according to the interest of the PhD student. Typical problems may be the still actual quantitative tracing and tracking of trans-sectorial agri-food process networks or the analysis and optimization of waste recycling for circular economy.
