Description of the research topic:
Our aim is to study the development of total, as well as neutralizing antibodies against different SARS-COV-2 spike variants in different subgroups of the Hungarian population following administration of different types of COVID-19 vaccinations. We also plan to characterize and study the short- and long-term side effects of the vaccinations. Results of our study are expected to provide important information on the immunity against SARS-CoV-2 and may help tailor vaccination strategies in different patient sub-populations.
