Dialogue between management and labour on various levels of economy serves as a backbone of modern industrial society and has a fundamental role in creating continuous employment schemes. Researches on the international patterns of employee representation, collective bargaining and strike actions all contribute to the better understanding of the correlations between industrial relations and labour markets.
