Description of the research topic:
Both on the national and the international scene the strategic relationship between regional and rural development and tourism plays an important aspect of tourism related researches. Naturally, this complex topic should be analysed also from a regional economic perspective integrated with the different aspects of spatial sciences and tourism geographical approaches. The social-economic-spatial processes of tourism and regional development should be analysed in a complex way covering the economic-social aspects through the system of tourism as well. The student choosing this topic will be dealing with a domestic (or international) impoundable geographic region’s (settlement, types of settlements, micro region, county, region, natural landscape, ethnic landscape, cross border area etc.) complex or selected, special aspects of tourism and regional development.
