In the last period the critical infrastructure gets larger and larger role in the domestic and the European, in fact in the international economic life, which protection became more important because of the negative processes (terrorism, radicalisation of Islam, exposure of the economy, etc.).
Aims:
Introducing and describing the general definition, characteristics and importance of the critical infrastructure, then the possibilities of its protection. Introducing the more essential activities concerning the protection of the critical infrastructure, like prevention, preparation and the creation of resistance capabilities. We take in regard especially the international and domestic legal regulation, as well as the various answers given tot he challenges and risks. Describing vital insrastructural branches, as well as those areas, which are part of the critical infrastructure (for example hospital security, bank security, agricultural security, food security, energetic securit, traffic security, news-informatic security, etc.). Taking into consideration the existing threats concerning the infrastructure of the different branches, the defense plans, the course of their preparation, the application of the defense instructions, as well as, the further current questions regarding the critical infrastructure defense.
