Description of the research topic:

Gastrointestinal motility disorders are common diseases and may affect at any part of the gastrointestinal system. As they are known to have a significant negative impact on the quality of life of the patients is is important to obtain better data on their epidemiologic characteristics , natural course and pathogenesis, which may help us to identify further therapeutic targets.
