Description of the research topic:

The long-term, population-based colorectalcancer (CRC) screening with colonoscopy and polypectomy substantially decreasethe incidence of CRC, and the rate of early stage cancers is increaseing. The new diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic techniques have been real breakthrough in the management of CRC, however there is a lot of open question about the role of these inventions in the daily clinical practice. Therefore, the aims of our research to determine the efficacy of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures in the CRC screening, removal of colonic adenomas and in the management of colonic cancers. The following interventions will be assessed:
1. assessment of effect of endocopic quality indicators to efficacy of CRC screening (interval CRC, bowel preparation, technique of polypectomy, use of EndoCuf)
2. efficacy and safety of endoscopic removal of early colorectal cancers
