Description of the research topic:
The goal of the research is to elaborate a model that would make it possible to indicate numerically whether it is worth going on with a given innovation or a development project or not. In addition to the commonly used indicators, the researcher complements the quantification methods for indicating the innovation capacity and performance of firms with parameters that also take the significance of the elements of intellectual capital into account. By using artificial intelligence (as a result of a self-learning process), businesses will be able to estimate their future innovation results. The research presents the importance of intellectual capital in the estimation of innovation results, emphasizing the connection between knowledge management and innovation processes.
